Our ProcessClean. Stain. Seal.
Our three-step process is why our stain keeps its color and resists flaking, chipping and fading — and why most fences carry a 3-year warranty.
Step by Step
Our 3-Step Staining Process
- 1
Clean & disinfect
We remove mold, mildew, algae and gray weathering to open the wood’s pores.
- 2
First coat
The first coat soaks into the clean wood and dries quickly.
- 3
Second coat
The second coat bonds to the first, deepens the color and seals the wood.
Before & After the Work
What to Expect
Free estimate. Tell us about your fence, deck, door or concrete and we’ll send an estimate by text or email. If we find a different condition on site, we’ll give you an updated estimate before any work starts.
Color selection. We custom-mix colors on site, can match any HOA-approved color, and will help you choose the right opacity for your wood.
On the day. We bring our own tools and supplies. Please clear the work area, keep pets inside and turn sprinklers off. An adult needs to be present to approve the finished work.
Payment. You don’t pay in full until the job is complete. We accept cash, check, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), Zelle and Venmo.

How long does fence stain last in Texas?
Our two-coat acrylic stain typically lasts 5+ years on a Texas fence before it needs a refresh. Sun exposure, sprinklers hitting the boards and the type of wood all affect how long the color holds. We back most fence jobs with a 3-year warranty.
Do I need to replace my old gray fence or can it be stained?
Most gray, weathered fences do not need to be replaced. Graying is surface oxidation. We clean and disinfect the wood to remove mold, mildew and the gray layer, then stain it — restoring the look for a fraction of the cost of a new fence. Boards that are rotted through should be replaced first.
When should I stain a new fence?
Ideally soon after it is built, once the wood is dry enough to absorb stain. Staining early protects new lumber before the Texas sun and humidity start to gray and crack it.
What kind of stain do you use?
We use an exclusive, water-based acrylic wood stain. It dries fast, resists flaking, chipping and fading, gives a natural (not glossy) look, and is safe for grass and landscaping — unlike many oil-based stains.
Can you match my HOA’s approved fence color?
Yes. We custom-mix colors on site and can match any HOA-approved color. Bring us the HOA color name or a sample and we will match it.
How much does fence staining cost?
Price depends on the linear footage, fence height, one side or both, the condition of the wood and the stain you choose. Estimates are free, we beat competitors’ advertised prices by $50, and you don’t pay in full until the job is complete. Call (210) 904-2526 or request a quote online.
